The Amazing Race is back for Season 30. The premiere episode “You’re a Champion, Prove It” begins in Washington Square Park in New York City. The 11 teams – which include Big Brother stars, fitness models, and race car drivers — travel to Iceland, where they need to zipline across a canyon high above the Geitargljufur River.
One of the 11 teams consists of two retired NBA All-Star basketball players — Cedric Ceballos, 48, and Shawn Marion, 39. Since retiring in 2015 after playing for the Cavaliers, Mavericks, Raptors, Heat, and Suns, Marion has become an even bigger art collector. In December, he attended the prestigious annual art show Art Basel in Miami Beach, Florida. While he didn’t get to see all the exhibits he wanted to, he says he’s still in contact with a lot of the artists “that I personally buy stuff from throughout the years.” Marion is a fan of gummy bear artist WhIsBe, bearbrick artist Vitalii Mezkal and KAWS (see photos below).
