In The Mick episode “The Teacher,” Mickey (Kaitlin Olson) is concerned about the relationship between her daughter Sabrina (Sofia Black-D’Elia) and her poetry teacher (guest star Nate Smith). Her suspicion leads Mickey to do the inappropriate thing and humiliate them both in front of Sabrina’s peers at the school arts festival. Principal Gibbons tries to intervene.

Principal Gibbons is portrayed by Wayne Wilderson. He’s known for his roles on Veep with Julia Louis-Dreyfus (Wayne), The Class (Joel), The Steve Harvey Show (Bryon Clark), and Seinfeld (Walter), among others. Fun facts: Wilderson made his TV acting debut in a 1993 episode of Frasier, and he played the purple grapes in the Fruit of the Loom commercials (see below). The Mick airs Tuesdays at 9pm on FOX.
