In the Love & Hip Hop episode “Bodied,” James R. is filming a music video for his latest single “Bah Gurl.” It features him (shirtless) getting real, real close to his sexy co-star Sophia Body. The Brooklyn born R&B singer James R. says he knows when someone is acting or not and “Right there was some chemistry between us.” When the camera stops rolling, James and Sophia are still on the bed talking. When James starts showering Sophia with compliments, in walks his girlfriend MariahLynn.
MariahLynn lets James R. kiss her on the cheek and then sits on the bed. Sophia says to James R.: “I thought you said you weren’t with her no more.” James R. says he’s “used to girls fighting over me but this right here is gonna get ugly.” And it does. MariahLynn throws a punch. James. R is known for his 2011 album Revelation and his 2016 single “Gotta Go Get It.” P.S. He’s also the father of an adorable little girl (see cute pic below).
