In the Mom episode “A Seafaring Ancestor and a Bloomin’ Onion,” Bonnie (Allison Janney) helps newly sober Natasha (Missi Pyle) find an apartment. She needs a place before trying to get her daughter Emily back. Meanwhile, Christy (Anna Faris) teams up with a her younger classmate Cooper for a night of trivia at a local college bar.
Cooper is portrayed by Michael Angarano. He’s known for his roles on Will & Grace (Jack’s son Elliot), I’m Dying Up Here (Eddie Zeidel), The Knick (Dr. Bertie Chickering, Jr.), and in the Cameron Crowe film Almost Famous (Young Williams — see link above), among others. Fun fact about Angarano: He made his TV debut on Saturday Night Live in 1995 playing David Duchovny’s son. Mom airs Thursdays at 9pm on CBS, right after Young Sheldon, and right before S.W.A.T.
