On the Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles episode “Unchartered Terrority,” the British real estate agents James Harris and David Parnes meet a client at a construction site. They and the client originally devised a plan to sell two houses — first the big one then the small one. When James announces good news to his client, the client reasonably asks “an offer?” James doesn’t say yes or no but talks about “the strategy is working, showing both houses.” But they’ve received just one offer. They’ve received an offer of $4.6 million for the smaller house. It’s listed for $5.395.
The client says he’s “beside myself that we’re even having this conversation.” He articulates his frustration calmly but then throws his construction hat on the ground and tells them, “We are not going to counter.” Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles airs Thursdays at 9pm on Bravo.
