In the Married to Medicine episode “Let’s All Throw a Fit-ni,” Fit-ni refers to Dr. Jackie Walters’ outdoors fitness event. All the ladies show up in their favorite spandex outfits and big sunglasses and they have not forgotten to bring their attitudes. At the event, Dr. Heavenly Kimes calls Toya Bush-Harris “messy” especially when it comes to the new doctor on the show, Dr. Contessa Metcalfe. In an effort to either stir the pot or to clear the air, Toya asks Contessa to join her heated conversations with Heavenly. Contessa admits to Heavenly that she overreacted the last time they saw each other. And she tells Heavenly, “It had nothing to do with her [Toya]. In this particular situation, it was 100 percent me.” And for a moment both Toya and Heavenly are speechless.

After the event, Heavenly tells the camera: “Thank you Contessa for owning what your problems are.” Heavenly proclaims: “So, yes, I can move on with Contessa.” However, “I’m a side-eye b—h because I don’t know where she coming from. I don’t know her. But I’m gonna give her another chance.” Side-eye, btw, is defined as: “A facial expression expressing one’s criticism, disapproval, animosity, or scorn of varying levels of intensity towards another person. Defined by one person looking at the other out of the corner of their eye(s) with a scowl…Often an invitation for a fight or confrontation.” Married to Medicine airs Fridays at 8pm on Bravo.
