On Black Ink Crew: Chicago, the owner of 9Mag tattoo shop Ryan Henry blows up after he learns that Kat has been working in the shop. He’s told them all he doesn’t want her there. Keep in mind, Kat told Ryan’s girlfriend Rachel (mother of his child) that she hooked up with Ryan while they were getting back together. All of that doesn’t matter to the employees of 9Mag. They consider Kat a part of the 9Mag family. She was there from day one. Charmaine says the only reason why Ryan doesn’t want Kat in the shop is because Ryan is “still hiding things from Rachel.” She adds, “Everyone here has Kat’s back. And there’s a bulls-eye on yours [Ryan’s].”

Even though Ryan says, “It’s my shop. I don’t want her here, she doesn’t need to be here,” Van gets in his face and yells repeatedly, “This is her home.” Big man Phor tries to wedge himself physically between the two before it gets physical. Ryan is in a no-win situation. His employees aren’t going to keep Kat away, and his girlfriend Rachel probably won’t stay if she knows Kat is working in his shop.
