In the Blue Bloods episode “Ghosts of the Past,” while Police Commissioner Reagan (Tom Selleck) is told by the new mayor Maggie Dutton (Lorraine Bracco) to attend a parade honoring a man who conspired to attack the police, his son Jamie (Will Estes) investigates the reappearance of Andrea Rivas (Massiel Mordan), a young woman who went missing 13 years ago when she was a teenager. The police suspect that Congressman Richard Walters is exploiting Andrea and her reappearance.

Congressman Walters is portrayed by Richard Thomas. He’s known for his roles on The Americans (Frank Gaad), The Adventures of Swiss Family Robinson (David Robinson), The Waltons (John-Boy Walton, for which he won an Emmy in 1973), and in the 1979 TV mini-series Roots: The Next Generations (Jim Warner), among others. Fun fact: His parents were owners of the New York School of Ballet. Blue Bloods airs Fridays at 10pm on CBS.
[NOTE about streaming: Cable cutters can watch a live stream of any CBS show through Amazon Prime or CBS ALL-ACCESS. Both options offer free trials.]
