In the Chrisley Knows Best episode “Differing Strokes,” Todd Chrisley gets schooled by Rascal Flatts’ Jay DeMarcus on the golf course. But at least he doesn’t try to play basketball against Metta World Peace. The former NBA player is a guest on Chrisley’s talk show According to Chrisley (following Chrisley Knows Best).
Metta World Peace (formerly Ron Artest, also formerly “Panda Friend“) didn’t play much this past season with the Los Angeles Lakers. It was his 17th season in the NBA, where he played for six different teams including the Knicks, Pacers and Lakers. (A defensive star, Peace was an NBA All-Star in 2004 and won an NBA title in 2010.) It was reported at the end of the season that Lakers president Magic Johnson probably would not bring the 37-year-old back. So in August, Peace signed with the New Orleans Gators of the Global Mixed Gender basketball (GMGB) League, which is owned by rapper and reality star Percy Miller aka Master P (Growing Up Hip Hop). Chrisley Knows Best airs Tuesdays at 10pm on USA, and is followed by his talk show According to Chrisley.
