Diana Harbour is the founder of Red Dress Boutique, an online retail store that sells stylish and affordable women’s clothing. She pitched her successful business on Shark Tank in 2014. She went into the Tank seeking $600,000 in exchange for 5 percent equity. They left with $1.2 million in exchange for 20 percent (10 percent to Mark Cuban, 10 percent to Robert Herjavec).

What many people don’t know, especially after watching Harbour present Red Dress Boutique on Shark Tank with her husband Josh, is that she has been diagnosed with ADHD and OCD, and Asperger’s. (“One of the major differences between Asperger’s Disorder and autism is that, by definition, there is no speech delay in Asperger’s,” says the Autism Society.) Her son has been diagnosed with Asperger’s, too. On her blog Harbour wrote: “Shark Tank was torture until the two minutes of my pre-rehearsed intro was over and then I couldn’t shut up about Red Dress Boutique…an hour and a half of diarrhea of the mouth. But it worked.”
