In the Girlfriends’ Guide to Divorce episode “Let It Shine,” Abby (Lisa Edelstein) is at the hospital with her father George who has just suffered a stroke. When her mother Dina (Lesley Ann Warren) tells Abby that the doctors say there is also evidence of brain swelling, Abby calls her doctor for a second opinion while her brother Max (Patrick Heusinger) is on his way from Europe.
George is portrayed by Barry Bostwick. The 6’4″ tall actor is known for his roles on the TV shows Cougar Town (Roger), Spin City with Michael J. Fox (Mayor Randall Winston), Dads (Rick Armstrong), and in the films Spy Hard and The Rocky Horror Picture Show (Brad Majors – A Hero), among many others. Girlfriends’ Guide to Divorce airs Thursdays at 10pm on Bravo.
