On the Battle of the Network Stars, actors who played moms and dads on TV including Jackee Harry from Sister, Sister are competing against former TV child stars including Jimmy Walker (Good Times), Jeremy Miller (Ben Seaver on Growing Pains), and Mackenzie Phillips, the daughter of The Mamas & the Papas singer John Phillips and his first wife, Susan Adams.
Mackenzie Phillips is best known for her role as Julie Cooper, big sister to Valerie Bertinelli and daughter of Bonnie Franklin in the 1980s TV series One Day at a Time. Since then, she’s appeared on several TV shows including Beverly Hills, 90210, ER, Walker, Texas Ranger, and So Weird (Molly Phillips), among others. She currently provides the voice of Principal Milder on Disney’s animated series Milo Murphy’s Law. Battle of the Network Stars airs Wednesdays at 8pm on ABC.
