In the series finale of The Carmichael Show, Jerrod (Jerrod Carmichael) and his girlfriend Maxine (Amber Stevens West) have a unique way of celebrating their anniversary. On their third anniversary, the Carmichael family finds out about how they celebrate their relationship and they do not approve.
Their friend Jessica is portrayed by sketch and improv comedian Tawny Newsome. As an actress she’s known for her roles as Chelsea Leight-Leigh in Bajillion Dollar Propertie$ on Seeso. She’s also a singer. Her band Jon Langford and Skull Orchard have two albums “Old Devils” and “Here Be Monsters” (see link above). The Carmichael Show airs for the last time on Wednesday, August 9 at 10pm and 10:30pm on NBC.
