On the Teen Mom 2 episode “Motherducker”, while Briana’s mother confronts the father of her daughter’s second child Luis, Kailyn Lowry discovers that news of her third pregnancy has been leaked. And by a surprising source — fellow Teen Mom Jenelle Evans. On Twitter, on February 23, Jenelle wrote to Kailyn “congrats on your pregnancy girl! Heard the news from the crew.” Kailyn did not mention her pregnancy on social media because she was not yet 20 weeks.
After the leak, Kailyn tells her friend Michaella that she was worried about “not having control over my own story, like, my own life” before Jenelle “leaked” the news. Plus, Kailyn finds Jenelle’s source dubious. Kailyn tells Michaella that she called MTV and doesn’t believe the crew leaked it. Kailyn says: “So, I don’t know if she (Jenelle) was doing it to be a smartass or if she was doing it like thinking that she was really congratulating me.” Kailyn says, “I feel like I would text somebody that.” Teen Mom 2 airs Mondays at 9pm on MTV.
