In the Lifetime movie The Wrong Crush, Amelia is a high-school-track star who’s trying to put her troubled past behind her after her alcohol and drug use contributed to the death of her best friend. But now she has to deal with creepy transfer student Jake (Ricardo Hoyos) who tries to seduce her while secretly plotting to kill her for revenge.
Amelia is portrayed by Victoria Konefal. She made her acting debut in 2016 in the independent film Forgetting Sandy Glass. Since then Konefal has appeared in the 2016 Modern Family episode “Blindsided” (Haley’s friend Rivka, see clip below), and she’s currently filming Deadly Exchange with Good Witch star Rhys Matthew Bond. The Wrong Crush premieres on Lifetime on Sunday, July 2 at 8pm.
