Former NFL running back Marshall Faulk is leading a team of NFL Hall of Famers on Celebrity Family Feud. They’re playing against a team of NFL All-Stars led by Le’Veon Bell. The NFL legend in the gold jacket with the broadest shoulders is 6’6″ tall former offensive tackle Anthony Muñoz.
[Left: Check out Munoz as Gonzalez in The Right Stuff]
Muñoz, who is now 58, played college football at the University of Southern California (where he also played baseball as a pitcher!) before he was selected by the Cincinnati Bengals as the third overall pick in the 1980 NFL Draft. He played left tackle for the Bengals for 13 seasons and played both Bengals’ Super Bowl appearances (both losses to San Francisco 49ers). Muñoz played one season (1993) with the Tampa bay Buccaneers before retiring. Fun facts about Muñoz: He married his college sweetheart DeDe (in 1978!) and they have two children, both of whom played college ball at the University of Tennessee. Muñoz also played Gonzalez in the 1983 Academy Award-nominated film The Right Stuff! Celebrity Family Feud airs Sundays at 8pm on ABC.
