Now these are three women who people want to see together again. Forget the oft-fantasized Friends reunion: what about some Ugly Betty action? It’d be just as beautiful, and something tells us the characters particular spunk will have aged better. Proof? American Ferrera herself, star of Superstore, posted a sweet pic of her with Ugly Betty co-stars Vanessa Williams and Ana Ortiz and hearts flew around social media. Ortiz and Ferrera hit the Hollywood Bowl to see Williams in action.
Williams, a great Broadway star in addition to her TV roles is starring in Sondheim on Sondheim, celebrating the work of the great Stephen Sondheim. He wrote “Send in the Clowns“, which could have been the title of any number of Ugly Betty episodes — and which mixes in the sorrowful with outrageous humor just like Ugly Betty did too. Superstore, no slouch either in the comedy department, is approaching Season 3.
