Shahs of Sunset is back for its sixth season. A lot has happened since Season 5. Divorcee Mike moves into his bachelor pad, MJ and Tommy move into their new condo, and Asa Soltan announces her pregnancy. While the name of Asa’s longtime boyfriend and father of her child is not mentioned on TV, he is Jermaine Jackson II, son of Jermaine Jackson of the Jackson 5. His aunt LaToya Jackson has been posting photos of the families together (see below, at the baby shower). The season was filmed prior to the arrival of Asa and Jermaine’s baby, a boy named Soltan Jackson, in January 2017.

Four months after the birth of Soltan, Asa’s book Golden was released. In the blurb on the jacket cover, Asa is described as a “Persian Pop Priestess and Spiritual Gangsta” who shares seven sacred rituals on beauty, love, career, family, and friendships.” It also says that Asa “finally gives her loyal legion of fans the book they’ve been begging for, providing them with the tools to find confidence, empowerment, and channel their inner priestess.” Shahs of Sunset airs Sundays at 8pm on Bravo.
