In the TV movie Deadly Secrets by the Lake, NYPD detective Jennifer Riley returns to her hometown after her sister Lauren is charged with the murder of her boss. Lauren says she just woke up with blood all over her, and a knife in her hand. While home, Jennifer tries to make amends with her estranged family but her investigation will get in the way as she’ll expose a long-suppressed secret.
Jennifer is portrayed by Stefanie von Pfetten. The Canadian-born actress is known for her roles on The Man in the High Castle (Katharina Wegener) and Cracked (Dr. Daniella Ridley), among others. Fun fact: von Pfetten is a Baroness. Her German father is Baron Hermann Freiherr von Pfetten; her mother is his third wife, Heidrun Reel. They divorced in 1991, when Stefanie was 18. Deadly Secrets by the Lake premieres on LMN on June 2 at 10pm.
