The protagonist in the Lifetime movie The Perfect Soulmate is Sarah Miles (Alex Paxton-Bessley). She’s a published poet who put her writing on hold when she got married and had her daughter Megan. Now that Megan’s older, Sarah returns to writing on her blog. Her number one reader, a young woman named Lee Maxson, considers Sarah her “perfect soulmate” and they become friends until Lee’s obsessive behavior gets on Sarah’s nerves. Lee feels slighted when Sarah tells her to leave her alone. Lee seeks revenge by threatening the life of Sarah’s daughter, among other things.
Lee is portrayed by Cassandra Scerbo. She’s known for her roles as Lauren Tanner on Make It or Break It, and as Nova Clarke in the Sharknado movies with Ian Zirling and Tara Reid. The fifth Sharknado film, subtitled “Global Swarming”, is coming this summer. The Perfect Soulmate premieres on Lifetime on Sunday, June 4 at 8pm.
