Chipps Cooney is one of the veteran acts performing on the series premiere of Little Big Shots: Forever Young. The 77-year-old from New Jersey is known for performing “bad” magic tricks while doing a standup comedy routine. In 2010, Chipps competed on America’s Got Talent (Season 5) and made it to the quarterfinals. But his quarterfinals act was a bust. He admitted to the AGT judges — Piers Morgan, Sharon Osbourne, and Howie Mandel — that he ran out of illusions so he returned to his “roots” as a Chippendale’s dancer. He stripped down to his shorts before all three judges hit their buzzers, which eliminated Chipps from the competition.

Before AGT, Chipps appeared in a scene in the 2006 Adam Sandler film The Benchwarmers with Andy Spade, Rob Schneider and Jon Heder. Little Big Shots: Forever Young airs Wednesdays at 8pm on NBC.
