On Jill and Jessa: Counting On, it’s Joy Anna Duggar and Austin Forsyth‘s wedding day. While there’s a longstanding tradition of bride and groom not seeing each other their wedding day, Austin says, “Joy and I just do things different.” He explained that they needed to talk about some things and “pray together” that day. “So we’re traditional that way.”
When the producer asks what they’re looking forward to the most when it comes to the ceremony, Joy says she’s excited to exchange vows. Austin says he’s looking forward most to putting the ring on her finger. When the producer asks, “What about the first kiss?” Austin says with a smile, “That’s a given.” Joy says with raised eyebrows, “That’s going to be exciting too.” Jill and Jessa: Counting On airs Mondays at 8pm on TLC.
