A man dressed in a black spandex uni-tard which covers his face goes by the stage name of Dancing Pumpkin Man. He also wears a pumpkin head mask. Before performing at his audition on America’s Got Talent, Season 12, judge Simon Cowell asked the man “Jack” what his dream is. That’s when the man told Simon, “Can I be vulnerable with you for one second?” He admits that at first he was after “the hot dollar” but things have changed over the years. Now his goal is to “spread the joy through the dance.” He then gives Simon a new nickname, “Simes” (rhymes with mimes).

The Dancing Pumpkin Man then dances to the 1984 Rockwell song “Somebody’s Watching Me” featuring the late Michael Jackson and his brother Jermaine singing the chorus. After “Simes” hits his buzzer, judge Mel B says, “He’s actually quite good.” At the end of the performance, Mel B gives the Dancing Pumpkin Man a standing ovation (as does most of the crowd). America’s Got Talent airs Tuesdays at 8pm on NBC.
