The new E! reality TV show Second Wives Club features a handful of women married or engaged to wealthy successful men in Beverly Hills — men who have already been married at least once before. One of the women is Katie Cazorla who’s engaged to Walter Afanasieff. She refers to him as her “forever fiance” because she’s been with him for 11 years and they’re been engaged for almost six years. On camera, Walter says he’s shocked it’s been six years. “I thought it was a couple of years.” She responds, “No, six, and everyone thinks it’s your fault.” Katie admits, “But it’s really mine.”

Walter is a Grammy-winning, Oscar-nominated record producer. He won a Grammy for producing “My Heart Will Go On” by Celine Dion which was featured in the 1997 film Titanic. Walter has also spent a good portion of his career co-producing and co-writing songs for Mariah Carey including her hit “Hero.” P.S. Walter has been married three times and has three kids. Katie does not have kids. She explains, “because I feel like I’m smart.” Second Wives Club airs Thursdays at 9pm on E!
