In The Simpsons episode ‘Moho House’, Homer and Marge try to spice up their marriage. But while they work on it, home wrecker Nigel bets that he can break up the couple. Mr. Burns takes the bet while Moe helps Homer and Marge get their mojo back.
Nigel is voiced by Michael York. It’s not the first time York has lent his voice to The Simpsons. He was veterinarian Dr. Lionel Budgie in two recent episodes, and Mason Fairbanks in the 2006 episode “Homer’s Paternity Coot.” The Oxford graduate is known for his roles in the Austin Powers movies (Basil Exposition), Cabaret (Brian Roberts), Murder on the Orient Express (Count Andrenyi), and in the Shakespeare films The Taming of the Shrew (Lucentio) and Romeo and Juliet (Tybalt), and among many others. The Simpsons airs Sundays at 8pm on FOX.
