The Lifetime movie Escaping Dad is about an abusive husband who drives his wife to leave him. Darren is a dirty District Attorney who’s involved with an illegal Mexican cartel and his wife Erin (Sunny Mabrey) has proof of his involvement. So when she takes the kids and runs, she’s not just running from Darren, she’s running from the police. Darren puts out an amber alert and tells the press Erin is mentally unstable.
Darren is portrayed by Jason Wiles. He’s known for his roles on Scream: The TV Series (Sheriff Clark Hudson), CSI: NY (John Curtis), Army Wives (Sgt. Peter Belgrad), Commander in Chief (Alex Williams), Third Watch (Maurice Boscorelli), and Beverly Hills, 90210 (Colin Robbins), among others. Escaping Dad premieres on Lifetime on Sunday, May 21 at 8pm.
