Billy Bush (born William Hall Bush) is the 45-year-old TV personality who is heard laughing during a lewd conversation led by then-reality TV star Donald Trump in 2005. Trump told Bush (then with NBC’s Access Hollywood) about his failed attempts to seduce married women and about grabbing women “by the pussy” among other things. The tape resurfaced in October 2016, one month before the presidential election. Ten days after the tape was released, Bush was fired from NBC and weeks later Trump won the election. On May 26, Bush is giving an exclusive interview to Robin Roberts on ABC 20/20.
In April 2017, Billy Bush celebrated his 19th wedding anniversary with his wife Sydney Davis Bush, the mother of his three daughters, Josie, Mary and Lillie. After the Trump tape was leaked, Bush said: “My wife, Sydney, knows the environment and the atmosphere I was in at the time, and she knows very well the person she married.
