In the Law & Order: Special Victims Unit episode ‘The Newsroom’, news anchor Heidi Sorenson (guest star Bonnie Somerville) accuses her boss Harold Coyle of rape, on-air. NYPD Detective Benson (Mariska Hargitay) discovers she’s not the only woman in the newsroom who has complained about the powerful Coyle.

Harold Coyle is portrayed by Christopher McDonald.
