In The Leftovers episode ‘Crazy Whitefella Thinking’, Kevin Garvey Sr. (Scott Glenn) used to hear voices that asked him “What are you looking for?” He says defiantly, “Purpose!” Now, as the Departure anniversary approaches, and he believes a great flood will come and cause the apocalypse, he sets out for the Australian outback to stop it.
