Bill Maher, host of Real Time with Bill Maher, welcomes Senator Elizabeth Warren, filmmaker Rob Reiner, CNN commentator and former Communications Director at the U.S. House of Representatives Tara Setmayer, venture capitalist/philanthrophist Nick Hanauer, and nuclear physicist Ernest Moniz, to the show on April 28.

Moniz was the thirteenth U.S. Secretary of Energy, nominated by President Obama and confirmed by the U.S. Senate in a rare unanimous vote in 2013. With the arrival of the Trump administration and former Texas governor Rick Perry, Moniz left office in January 2017 and returned to MIT, where he served much of his professional career as a nuclear physicist. Upon his return, MIT’s vice president for research Maria Zuber said: “Ernie’s career is the blueprint for how science can be used as an essential tool to inform policy. It’s great to have him back and challenging all of us to develop and enhance this important skill.” Real Time with Bill Maher airs Fridays at 10pm on HBO.
