In the Season 29 premiere episode of The Amazing Race, ‘We’re Coming for You, Phil!’, 22 strangers meet in Los Angeles and pick their partners based on first impressions at the starting line. The 11 teams then fly to the first destination, Panama City.
One of the contestants is Brooke Camhi, an attorney from New York City. She says, “I was told that if I didn’t win, I shouldn’t come home.” That’s only because her friends and family know how competitive she is, and that she wouldn’t be satisfied unless she finishes the race. Brooke has a lot of experience with partnerships. She opened her Manhattan law firm Camhi & Min, LLC with Richard Min, who she’s known since the second grade! (See photo below.) Now that’s loyalty. Brooke’s style at work may have some bearing on the way she runs the race, too. Camhi & Min are “dedicated to achieving the best outcome for every client, based on their individual and unique needs.” The Amazing Race 29 airs Thursdays at 10pm on CBS.
