On Bar Rescue, Jon Taffer travels to Kenner, Louisiana to meet Amanda and Keith Bellaci, the married couple who own Speakeasy Bar & Grill. They bought the place in 2015 and are now $250,000 in debt. “That’s more than my house,” Amanda laughs as she cries. The bartenders at Speakeasy point out that their boss Amanda is quick to jump up on the bar and twerk for customers while their other boss Keith does shots and doesn’t do much to stop Amanda from twerking. According to the Bar Rescue website Amanda “twerks herself to tears when her bar gets out of step.”

Bar Rescue rebranded the Speakeasy Bar as The Second Line Co. where they’re now serving a few specialty drinks and menu items with a whole new look (see below). There’s no mention of twerking on The Second Line Co. Facebook page but there is karaoke. Bar Rescue airs Sundays at 10pm on Spike.
