In the Girls Season 6 premiere episode ‘All I Ever Wanted’ while roommate troubles stir among the Girls, Hannah (Lena Dunham) goes to the Hamptons for a writing assignment. She’s supposed to write about a surf camp for women. When she arrives, she meets Paul Louis, the laid-back surf instructor.

Paul Louis is portrayed by Riz Ahmed. Americans will recognize the English-born actor from the films Rogue One: A Star Wars Story (Bodhi Rook), Jason Bourne (Aaron Kalloor), Four Lions, Nightcrawler with Jake Gyllenhaal and Rene Russo (Rick), and The Road to Guantanamo (Shaiq), among others. As a rapper, he’s known as Riz MC and is a member of the Swet Shop Boys, who will perform at Coachella 2017. Girls airs Sundays at 10pm on HBO.
