In the Hawaii Five-0 episode ‘E malama pono (Handle With Care)’, McGarrett (Alex O’Loughlin) and Danny (Scott Caan) are somewhat relieved when they find the missing uranium which has been used in the bomb sitting in the middle the jungle. But their job isn’t over yet. Now they have to extract the bomb before it detonates.

Bomb maker Desmond Abati is portrayed by singer Darius Rucker. The country singer (formerly the lead singer of 90s megasmash makers Hootie and the Blowfish) hasn’t acted a lot but you can see him briefly in the film Shallow Hal with Jack Black and Gwyneth Paltrow as the Capital Grill maître D’. Hawaii Five-0 airs Fridays at 9pm on CBS.
