In The Walking Dead episode ‘Rock in the Road’, Rick and the group are led to a new community, the Kindgom, where they’re introduced to King Ezekiel (Khary Payton). The meeting proves to be “quite unsettling for the survivors.”
The Walking Dead airs Sundays at 9pm on AMC. It’s followed by Talking Dead at 10pm, when ‘The Rock in the Road’ episode will be discussed by actor Khary Payton, special effects makeup creator Greg Nicotero and NFL football player DeAngelo Williams who had a Walking Dead themed wedding. Two days before the episode airs, Payton posted a photo of him as Ezekiel with the caption, “Stay frosty, boys. We’re getting close. Real close.” Many fans replied “I’m ready to Rise Up!”
