The Dateline episode ‘Diabolical’ details the traumatic experience of Michelle Hadley. The 30-year-old MBA student spent 88 days in jail after she was accused of stalking her ex-fiance’s wife Angela Diaz. Diaz claimed that Hadley had posted a “rape fantasy ad” on Craiglist with Diaz’s address. Diaz claimed that a man had come to her house and tried to rape her. It turned out that Diaz was the one behind the ad, an attempt to frame Hadley. All charges were dropped against Hadley in January 2017. Diaz is now facing several charges.
Hadley, now 31, is celebrating her freedom with a new job. According to her LinkedIn account, in January, Hadley was named CEO of Babes with Coffee, a blog that features and reviews coffee shops in Orange County. She refers to Babes with Coffee as her “source of healing and self-discovery after trauma.” The company donates five percent of its proceeds from their Coffee Babe and Coffee Angel baseball caps ($15) to survivors of domestic abuse. Dateline airs Fridays at 10pm on NBC.
