In the Ransom episode ‘Joe,’ the kidnapped victim is an engineer working for a company that makes collision avoidance software for cars. While Eric Beaumont (Luke Roberts) does his best to negotiate with the kidnapper, Joe Morris, a third party “intercepts their correspondence and purposely sabotages the negotiation process.”
Kidnapper Joe Morris is portrayed by Enrico Colantoni. He’s known for his roles on American Gothic (Mayor Conley), Person of Interest (Carl Elias), Flashpoint (Sgt. Gregory Parker), Veronica Mars (Keith Mars), Just Shoot Me! (fashion photographer Elliot DiMauro), and Hope & Gloria (Louis Utz), among others. Ransom airs Saturdays at 8pm on CBS.
