In the Paranormal Lockdown episode ‘Waverly Hills & Trans-Allegheny Unlocked’, Nick and Katrina travel to Kentucky to check out Waverly Hills, an abandoned sanatorium where thousands of people died of tuberculosis in the early 1900s. While Katrina tries to measure shadow figures in the basement of the sanatorium, they team up with former FBI agent Ben Hansen. Hansen, who now works as a paranormal investigator, tells them he doesn’t think it’s safe for them to stay there overnight. “If it starts playing tricks with you, and you get in a wild panic, it’s going to be a night of terror.” He adds, “That’s an understatement of what you could experience here.” Hansen suggests that if they do stay, “I wouldn’t provoke or say anything.”
