In the Paranormal Lockdown episode ‘Waverly Hills & Trans-Allegheny Unlocked’, Nick and Katrina travel to Kentucky to check out Waverly Hills, an abandoned sanatorium, with former FBI agent Ben Hansen. In the second half, Nick and Katrina revisit the abandoned Trans-Allegheny Lunatic Asylum in Weston, West Virginia. The asylum hosts several ghost tours throughout the year. But it might surprise some to learn that the asylum also hosts an annual Easter Egg Hunt for Children on the 20-acre front lawn.
The Annual Easter Egg Hunt is open to the public and is free of charge. More than 10,000 eggs are hidden. Registration begins at noon on Easter Sunday, April 16, 2017. Paranormal Lockdown airs Fridays at 9pm on TLC.
