On Paranormal Lockdown, paranormal experts Nick and Katrina travel to Colfax, Washington to check out St. Ignatius Hospital which has been abandoned since 2003. It was the first hospital in the county, built in 1893, so as Nick points out “thousands of people have died here.” Katrina says “it’s the grittiest location” she’s been to. And cameraman Rob says “it’s the scariest location” he’s been to. It’s said that the first person to die in St. Ignatius Hospital – F.E. Martin who was crushed between two railroad cars – still roams the hallways.
While the Paranormal Lockdown crew sets up multiple devices (3D, thermal, and infrared nightvision cameras) to try to capture the spirit in a hallway — Nick and Katrina ask the spirit to come out. That’s when Rob the cameraman says, “Whoa, I totally felt something grab me right here,” he says, rubbing his hip. Paranormal Lockdown airs Fridays at 9pm on TLC.
