On the Ladies of London episode ‘You Regatta Be Kidding Me’, after the women attend a high-society rowing event (hence the title of the episode), Caroline Stanbury visits her parents in Southrop, England. Upon her arrival, Caroline complains to her mother Elizabeth (who is stunning, btw) about the traffic (two hours) before they talk about Caroline’s father who almost had a heart attack. Over a pot of tea, Elizabeth reports “he had four stents put in one side. And they think they’re going to have to do the other as well.”
Caroline admits, “I’m so busy with my own life I don’t think about my parents’ mortality.” Her mother summarizes the situation: “I think we had a very narrow escape.” She also says she’s very grateful for everyone who acted so quickly. “I still have a husband,” she says soberly. Ladies of London airs Tuesdays at 10pm on Bravo.
