Two new faces on Season 7 of Love & Hip Hop are Felicia “Snoop” Pearson and her girlfriend J. Adrienne. J — mother of 13-year-old Wesley — moved from Chicago to New York to be closer to Snoop but it’s not easy being the girlfriend of a celebrity. Before starting her own record label (Gorgeous Gangster Records), Snoop, a native of Baltimore, appeared on 27 episodes of HBO’s The Wire as a killer named after herself. Her fictional character isn’t far from fact.

Before The Wire, at the age of 14, Snoop was convicted of second-degree murder. She got into a fight with a 15-year-old and shot him twice. Snoop was sentenced to eight years in prison. She was released in 2000 after serving five years of her sentence. Love & Hip Hop airs Mondays at 8pm and 9pm on VH1.
