On the Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles episode, ‘Nightmare on Altman Street’, while the Brits struggle to sell a St. Ives listing, and Josh Flagg tries to close a Beverly Drive listing, Josh Altman and his brother Matthew take a look at filmmaker Wes Craven’s house (which used to be owned by movie star Steve McQueen). Considering that the late great Craven was “the scariest movie producer/director ever” Josh assumes the house will be Gothic with gargoyles (or, as he says, argyles). Josh was way off.
[Wes Craven is known for A Nightmare on Elm Street, The Hill Has Eyes, and Scream, among many others]
The 3,594 sq-ft home is very Zen, and the views are amazing. The Altman brothers agree to list the 3-bedroom, 3 bathroom house for $3.295 million. Craven bought the home in 1992 for $1.2 million. Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles airs Thursdays at 9pm on Bravo.
