In Season 3 of The Affair, novelist Noah Solloway (Dominic West) has served his time in jail following Scotty’s death. While he reconnects with his sister Nina (Jennifer Esposito), he also meets new people at his new job — teaching at Princeton University. He falls for a French academic named Juliette Le Gall.
Juliette is portrayed by Irène Jacob. She is known for her roles in the films Three Colors: Red, The Double Life of Veronique, U.S. Marshals (Marie Bineaux) with Tommy Lee Jones and Wesley Snipes, and The Secret Garden (Mary’s mother), among others. Fun fact: Jacob is the daughter of the late French physicist Maurice Jacob. The Affair airs Sundays at 10pm on Showtime.
