In the Wahlburgers episode ‘Wahl in the Family’, while Mark Wahlberg attends the premiere of his film Deepwater Horizon with Kate Hudson, Donnie Wahlberg meets his brother Bob and nephew Oscar in Chicago. Bob and Oscar are in the Windy City to visit colleges. Donnie tries to convince Oscar to pick an Illinois school. But is Chicago the right choice for the youngest Wahlberg actor?
Oscar Wahlberg can be seen in the recently released Kenneth Lonergan (Margaret, You Can Count on Me) film Manchester by the Sea. The protagonist is a janitor (Casey Affleck) who becomes the guardian of his teenage nephew after the boy’s father (Kyle Chandler) dies. Wahlberg plays one of the kid’s friends, Joel. This isn’t Oscar’s first film: he also had a role in What Doesn’t Kill You with Ethan Hawke and Mark Ruffalo. Wahlburgers airs Wednesdays at 10pm on A&E.
