The stars of Eyewitness, the new crime drama on USA, is small town Sheriff Helen Torrance (Julianne Nicholson) and the town’s veterinarian Gabe Caldwell. USA describes Gabe as being the character “whose decency, integrity and compassion rescued Sheriff Helen Torrance from her self-destructive cycle of living.”
Gabe is portrayed by Gil Bellows. The Canadian-born actor is known for his roles on Ascension (Harris Enzmann), Vegas (George Grady), True Justice (Nikoli Putin), The Agency (Matt Callan), and Ally McBeal (Billy Thomas) with Julianne Nicholson. Bellows is also recognized for his roles in the films The Weather Man with Nicholas Cage (Don), Unthinkable with Samuel L. Jackson (Agent Vincent), House at the End of the Street with Jennifer Lawrence (Weaver), and The Shawshank Redemption with Tim Robbins (Tommy). Eyewitness airs Sundays at 10pm on USA.
