In the Season 2 premiere of The Adventures of Supergirl (now on CW), Kara (Melissa Benoist) is thrilled to have her cousin Clark Kent in town. Although Kara’s sister Alex (Chyler Leigh) feels a little left out, Supergirl is delighted to receive the help of Superman while National City faces a new threat.
Clark Kent aka Superman is portrayed by Tyler Hoechlin. He’s known for his roles on Teen Wolf (werewolf Derek Hale), Lincoln Heights (Tad), and 7th Heaven (Martin Brewer), among others. Hoechlin is also recognized for his role in the 2002 Sam Mendes film Road to Perdition (as Tom Hanks’ son Michael Sullivan Jr.). Hoechlin will appear next on the big screen in the Fifty Shades of Grey sequels: Fifty Shades Darker and Fifty Shades Freed as Boyce Fox, a co-worker of Anastasia Steele. Supergirl airs Mondays at 8pm on CW.
