During the fifth week of The Voice’s Blind Auditions, all four coaches – Adam Levine, Miley Cyrus, Alicia Keys and Blake Shelton – turn their chairs for two singing sisters Whitney & Shannon. Adam Levine compliments their beautiful harmonies and Alicia Keys stands up and preaches to Whitney & Shannon about representing the future. But Blake Shelton delivers a strong pitch, too. He reminds everyone: “being a duo and being successful on this show has only ever happened one time. And I’m proud to say it was on my team and it was with the Swon Brothers.”
The country duo from Muskogee, Oklahoma competed on Season 4 of The Voice (2013). The Swon Brothers (Zach and Colton) were the first duo to make it a season finale. They finished in third place. After The Voice, they signed with Arista Nashville and released The Swon Brothers album in October 2014. A year later they parted ways with Arista. In January 2016, they released the EP Timeless. The Voice airs Mondays and Tuesdays at 8pm on NBC.
