On the 33rd season of Survivor, the 20 castaways are divided by generation — Millennials vs. Generation X. One of the Gen Xers is Sunday Burquest who has already earned the title of Survivor. Four years ago she was diagnosed with breast cancer and survived. The 45-year-old is also a wife (she and her husband are both pastors) and mother of four kids. Sunday said leaving her family was the most difficult thing about joining Survivor. Although when she announced eight years ago that someday she would be on Survivor, “My boys laughed at me. They were like ‘Whatever, Mom, you could never do it.'”
Note to Pastor Sunday: Be careful around Millennial Will Wahl. He says he plans to use Christianity to build bonds with others and ultimately to help advance him in the competition. Survivor: Millennials vs. Gen X airs Wednesdays at 8pm on CBS.
