In the TV movie The Last Bid (originally released as Storage Locker 181), Annette and Molly get into the storage unit business. They buy abandoned units and then sell the contents for profit, a la Storage Wars. They think they’ve hit the jackpot when the buy unit 181. Turns out the former owner is Dayton (Casper Van Dien), a thief and murderer in jail. When he’s released from prison he wants his stuff back (he stole jewelry and money from rich brides). And yes, he’s willing to do anything (including murder) to get what he believes belongs to him.
Annette is portrayed by Cassi Thomson. The 22-year-old Australian-born actress is known for her roles on Switched at Birth (Nikki Papagus) and Big Love (Cara Lynn), among others. The Last Bid premieres on LMN on Sunday, August 7 at 8pm.
